Our friendly team is headed up by Collette Evans who has over 14 years photography experience, specialising in wedding photography, promising perfect fairytale pictures from start to finish. She is assisted by Dean & Shane “I go with the groom and Collette goes to shoot the bride during bride prep, it works perfectly” said Dean Hodson
Let’s be honest, live events such as weddings can go wrong. The difference between it ruining the day and not is by having someone there who knows just what to do in a calm manner. Luckily after photographing 100+ weddings we know just how to handle these sticky situations, leaving you stress free. Photo planning before the big day is also a great way to give you peace of mind on your day, plan your formal groups and any important particulars out well in advance. We usually ensure this is done at least two weeks before your wedding date if not sooner.
Its easy for a photographer to get one lucky shot, but a whole days worth of good quality photos takes real skill, if you find a photographer whose style you like, contact them and arrange to go see them. While you are there ask about the services they provide including, does the price include an album? Can they provide digital copies? What’s the experience of both photographers? A realistic cost? You also need to be honest with them about your budget too (you don’t want any surprises) and also request to see further samples of their work, including complete sample wedding albums.
Budget for the best. For a good wedding photographer, you can expect to pay between £1,000 and £2,500 depending on the location. It can seem a lot to pay but it will be so worth it. Be honest with everyone you contact about your expectations, it will allow them to try to accommodate and assess your needs. Collette said “You are paying your photographer for their experience and skills on the day and afterwards. Each wedding can take up to a total of 60 hours to complete from start to finish. I spend on average 8 hours shooting the wedding , plus editing the photos in post production, the design of the album, post wedding meeting and engagement shoot”.
Our clients do truly become friends for life. We see them get married, have their babies and grow as a family. To be able to capture these occasions in someones life is truly a blessing and a privelidge. The photographs we take are someones future heirloom or reminder of what once was or a moment, they should be treasured with all your heart. A photograph of a loved one is worth more than any money could buy. “I can work with couples for several months or more around their wedding, it really gives me a chance to get to know them”. Said Collette Evans
Picture Perfect enjoy the relationship that is built from the very first meeting with a couple, right through to designing and presenting them with their handmade album. Collette the owner, handles each booking personally, she even designs the album. She said “Its important for me to hand design the album because I was there on the day and I know how the day unfolded and how the story of that day should be told. Handing over a handmade album to a couple is simply a pleasure”. Here’s what Picture Perfect’s clients, Liz & Martin said: “Oh my! You have just made me so emotional, the photos are perfect”.
So here we are, right here, right now. You know all about me, now it’s your turn to tell me about you and where you’re at and what you want to achieve through imagery of your once in a lifetime event.
